This page explains how we prepare, verify and update the information on our website.

## General information, not a personal assessment

Our content gives general information about residence permits, work permits and Turkish citizenship. The requirements described on a page may play out differently for you, depending on details such as your documents, your previous permits and the date you apply. If you would like an assessment of your own situation, you can request a pre-assessment through our [Contact](/en/contact) page; that assessment is not legal advice either.

## Our sources

We base our content on official sources only:

- current laws and regulations as published on mevzuat.gov.tr, and the Official Gazette (Resmî Gazete);
- the official pages and guides of the competent authorities, such as the Presidency of Migration Management (Göç İdaresi Başkanlığı), the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs (Nüfus ve Vatandaşlık İşleri Genel Müdürlüğü), the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı) and the Revenue Administration (Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı).

When a law and its regulation, or an official guide, say different things, we state this openly and show what each text says, with its source. We do not publish information we could not verify in an official source; where official practice is unclear, we recommend that you confirm with the relevant authority before applying.

Our residence permit, work permit and citizenship pages and our guides end with a list of the official sources they rely on. That list also includes the sources of the fees and time limits used on the page.

## How we verify fees and time limits

The key fees, thresholds and time limits from laws and regulations come from a single central record, so the same value appears the same way on every page. For each value we record the legal provision it rests on, a link to the official source, the date it took effect and the date the source was last checked. Where a fee or time limit appears in the text of a page, it links to its official source.

An automated check runs every week. It confirms that the source links can still be reached and that no value has gone longer than the set period without being checked again. If it finds a problem, a review item is opened and tracked until it is fixed.

## Updates

- Our content pages show a "Last updated" date below the title. When a fee or time limit used on the page changes, that date moves forward too; a value that was checked again but did not change does not change the date.
- We update fees that change every year in January, and we update the affected pages whenever the law changes.
- We announce changes in the law and in official practice on our [Legal Updates](/en/legal-updates) page, in date order, with their official sources and the pages they affect.

## No promises about outcomes

Our content makes no promises about the outcome of an application, processing times or appointments. Only the competent authority decides on an application.

## Corrections and feedback

If you think a piece of information is wrong or out of date, let us know through the form on our [Contact](/en/contact) page or by email to <info@investavrasya.com>. Where possible, include the address of the page and the official source you are relying on. We check each report against the official sources, and when we make a correction we update the page's date.

General information only; this is not legal advice. Decisions on your application rest solely with the competent authority; confirm current requirements with the relevant authority before applying. We have no official affiliation with the Presidency of Migration Management, the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs (NVİ) or the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (ÇSGB).
